The Rooms At Woody Point

The Rooms is a great place to stay in Woody Point. Everything that you need is there. From a very comfortable bed to the Nespresso coffee! Donna and her staff are very welcoming and accommodating. We liked the fact that it’s pet friendly too. I am a picky eater but I certainly wasn’t hungry. Would definitely return.

Donna took amazing care of us before and during our stay The in room breakfasts were delicious and so convenient to prepare us for early morning hike days. The location was great for accessing Woody Point restaurants, sights, etc. The room was very comfortable and we loved the walk in shower. This is an excellent choice for a stay in Gros Morne Park.

Donna is a great hostess. She understands hospitality and she provides it. "The Rooms" is an immaculate place to stay with hardy breakfasts in the morning and interesting and well prepared meals in the evening. You are in the best location to visit the Tablelands whether as a tourist or hard-core hiker. The Discovery Centre is minutes away. You will enjoy every minute of your stay.

My first time in Newfoundland attending a yoga retreat and I was lucky enough to stay here. The rooms are beautiful and thoughtfully appointed. The beds were so comfortable! Donna is an amazing host, cook, teacher, and tour guide! I hope to be back to this piece of paradise!

Stunning views, with comfortable spots to sit inside or outside to enjoy them. Very clean room, with thoughtful design and comfortable bed (which was very appreciated after a day of hiking!). We enjoyed the heated floors in the bathroom, ability to make our own espresso in the morning and local art used to decorate. Staff were very kind, and provided us with great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. There are a variety of craft stores, a couple restaurants and amazing cafe in walking distance. Very close to the discovery centre, tablelands & green gardens hikes. Would come back here in a heartbeat!

Outstanding facility tucked away at Woody Point but within a short walk to the waterfront. Rooms are perfectly set up with all the amenities needed for a very enjoyable stay. Bed was very comfortable. Excellent views in all directions especially from the two deck chairs. Perfectly located for exploring southern Gros More National Park. Check-in and out we were greeted very welcoming to The Rooms by the staff. Highly recommend The Rooms.

We stayed 3 nights in early September at The Rooms and would highly recommend it. The room was nicely furnished, and very clean and comfortable. Our room (#1) looked out over Bonne Bay and we enjoyed our morning coffee in bed, enjoying the view. It was an easy few minutes walk to the center of the small village of Woody Point. Donna, the owner, was friendly and very helpful and gave us a lot of advise on places to see, things to do, where to eat, etc. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

We had high expectations for this place based on the consistently glowing reviews, and we were not disappointed.We found everything we needed to make this our comfortable home away from home. There are so many things to like about these accommodations, but highlights for us included the luxurious comfortable bed, the private deck with Muskoka chairs overlooking the bay, and the walkability into town. We would also encourage you to take advantage of Donna's multi-course meals if they are offered during your stay. World class comfort food prepared expertly by Donna who has extensive culinary experience. Hands down the best meal we've had in NFLD. As a bonus, Donna is a great resource for information about the local area and beyond. Our highest recommendation for Donna and The Rooms at Woody Point!
